History of Caci
Since it launched in the UK in 1992 it became acknowledged as a ‘non surgical facelift’.
Its success and popularity as being an alternative to the more invasive and artificial botox / filler anti-aging treatments has widely grown internationally, with its availability in leading hotels, spas, heath clubs and salons.
The first CACI system was developed by Dr Thomas Wing in the US for the treatment of Stroke victims and Bells Palsy (a type of facial paralysis that normally causes drooping on one side of the face).
The treatment techniques were developed by Dr George Goodheart to help re-educate the facial muscles by triggering a stretch reflex response in the muscle. This has the effect of tightening muscles that have become flaccid. Due to its success treating these victims it quickly became a cosmetic treatment.
