History of NLP

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) emerged in the 1970s through the collaborative efforts of Richard Bandler and John Grinder. Their goal was to study and model the communication and behaviour patterns of successful therapists.

Since its inception, NLP has gained widespread popularity across various domains, including psychotherapy, business, education, and coaching. Its principles and techniques have been adapted and applied in diverse contexts to improve interpersonal relationships, leadership abilities, and overall effectiveness in both personal and professional settings.

Over time, NLP has evolved, giving rise to various offshoots and variants that tailor its techniques to specific needs and contexts. These variations often integrate elements from other psychological and therapeutic approaches, enriching the NLP toolkit with additional perspectives and methodologies.
